This 1988 Alpina C2 2.7 sedan is a Japanese-market example that is one of 74 examples produced between 1985 and 1986, and reportedly one of seven produced with a 2.5-liter C2/3 M20 inline-six paired with a five-speed manual transmission. The car was produced in September 1986 and first registered in July 1988, and it was imported to the US in 2016. Finished in Alpine White with Alpina graphics over black cloth upholstery, the car is fitted with Alpina bodywork, engine tuning, suspension components, and 16″ wheels as well as integrated fog lights, a power sunroof, a wood shift knob, and a Blaupunkt stereo with Alpine speakers. This Alpina E30 shows 107k kilometers (~66k miles) and is offered by the selling dealer in Arizona with manuals, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Oregon title.

The car is finished in Alpine White with green and blue Alpina graphics. Additional features include Alpina-specific spoilers and badging, a power sunroof, rear wheel-arch extensions, fog lights, and twin exhaust outlets. Photos of the paintwork, trim, and glass are shown up close in the gallery below.

Silver-finished 16″ Alpina alloy wheels are mounted with Dunlop Direzza ZII tires. Braking is handled by four-wheel discs.

The cabin features adjustable front bucket seats and a rear bench trimmed in black cloth with green and blue stripes. Additional equipment includes a wood shift knob, an Alpina onboard computer, power-operated windows and mirrors, air conditioning, and a Blaupunkt Bremen stereo with Alpine speakers.

A plaque located on the center console lists Alpina C2 2.7 Japan serial #0070.

A leather-trimmed four-spoke Alpina steering wheel frames a 270-km/h speedometer, a tachometer, and supplementary gauges. The six-digit odometer shows 107k kilometers (~66k miles).

The 2.5-liter C2/3 M20 inline-six reportedly features Alpina modifications including a high-performance camshaft, long-tube exhaust header, and revised ECU programming. Power is sent to the rear wheels via a five-speed manual transmission.

An Alpina-branded portfolio is included in the sale. The car was reportedly produced in September 1986 but was first registered in 1988, which is listed as the model year on the current Oregon title.

The Carfax report shows no accidents or other damage and lists a single entry from 2016 in California.
